“Blood ties are the most remarkable connections in the world. It's the loving blood ties that truly make a family.”


When I was born, I was influenced by the one-child policy, leading me to often fantasize about having a sister. In this project, I created a fictional sister for myself.

Using performance and storytelling through photography, I explored the potential relationship between us, inspired by my mother's stories about her past moments with her own sister.
