"Baptized by a hundred years of wind and rain, the Pearl of the North is alive and well."
I walked through every corner as an observer, seeking its real main characters and the inner essence of the city. Through my lens, I aim to convey my reflections on Dalian's glorious historical journey and the impact of changing times. During my exploration, I discovered some of Dalian's development problems, including people's dissatisfaction with the limitations of urban planning. At the same time, I gradually realized that the observer is an integral part of the city's story and can even be considered one of its main characters.
To effectively convey these ideas, I chose to present my ideas through the construction of four themes in a collage style. The busy lives of people have led to a fragmented way of life, which in itself is a collage, and our city is also a product of various elements colliding and sticking together.
