The Iron Island 铁皮孤岛We navigate our respective "iron islands," yet we never cease transmitting signals outward. Amidst physical isolation, our spirit persists in its wireless pursuit. We are, at once, solitary islands and ceaseless signal towers.

This project frames the car window as a "signal window"—an interface through which we gaze longingly at the world, attempting to decipher the trajectories of other islands while projecting our own ambiguous messages.

The blurred edges of the window act as a metaphor for our inherent inability to perfectly convey or receive one another's feelings. The sharply rendered world outside represents an "elsewhere" we yearn to understand or enter, while we, inside the moving vehicle, are engaged in a perpetual, silent scream.
